302 Phalanx Foundation’s Projects

Here's just a small sampling of the ongoing projects we have been working on.

K9 Vest Donation

Many of the departments in our area and beyond don’t have the funding to supply K-9 officers protective vests. This puts both the K-9 officer and his/her handler in danger when things get tough. We believe our police deserve every chance to go home safely at the end of shift. The 302 Phalanx Foundation raises money to supply these vest for the protection they need to stay safe when things get tough out here.

The K-9 Police Protection Program(K9PPP)works proudly in service to NCCPD, WPD, DSP, UDPD, NPD, & DELDOC

In addition to researching, procuring, and testing to acquire the vest best suited for our K-9 officers, K9PPP works to raise public awareness of the service performed by K-9s and the need for more support to provide adequate equipment for K-9 Officers.

Sunday Breakfast Mission

Thank you so much for looking after your neighbors. Give someone a hand up, and they will move into a position to HELP ANOTHER. With the help of our terrific partners in this effort, we can create a community where no one goes a day without a nourishing meal. That’s a good start!

We work hand in hand throughout the year with the Sunday Breakfast Mission to help by food drive, direct volunteering at their facilities, and more!

Exceptional Care for Children in Newark, DE

We’re partnered with Exceptional Care for Children in Newark, DE. As Delaware’s first and only pediatric skilled nursing facility and a Top-100 Nursing Home, Exceptional Care for Children takes pride in caring for their very inspiring residents and providing them with as normal a childhood as possible despite their medical challenges.

Twice a year, we gather together with our friend Santa to ensure that these children are able to enjoy some toys of their very own. We think it’s important not to do this just during the holiday season, but to ensure the children are taken care of throughout the entire year!

Adopt a Highway with 302 Phalanx

We are currently assigned to Brackenville Road, and we are hoping to take on more roads that need attention!

A clean highway is safer for everyone, helps to discourage littering and illegal dumping, and keeps our neighborhoods looking sharp and attended.
